Canopus have released a 4.61 update for Edius.  The most notable addition is support for XDCam-EX if you own the broadcast version of Edius, as well as some other formats.  This is quite a big leap forward if you choose to use the new Sony format.  It is currently only supported in Premiere Pro if you use a Matrox Axio - and even then it will not be properly supported until new Axio drivers are released.  Edius will support the format natively.

Also added are some bug-fixes and smaller changes.  A full list can be seen at our website. Unless you specifically need XDCam-EX support we would suggest you do not install this update just yet, as it adds very little else to the program and we have some batch capture issues that need to be addressed.
