Sony demonstrated a new version of their DVD writing program DVD Architect at NAB, which is capable of authoring Blu-ray discs.  Previously Vegas 8 could write BD-AV discs (Blu-ray discs with video but not menus), and now with DVD Architect 5 it can do BD-MV - discs with menus.  This is unlikely to support the fancy Blu-ray Java-based menus you get on commercial discs, but we expect it will do everything with a Blu-ray disc which you can do with a normal DVD, rather like Adobe Encore CS3.

Sony say it will be available in June and the update will be free to registered users of Vegas 8 Pro.
