Thompson have released a patch for Edius.  This fixes a few small bugs in the first release and adds support for new hardware Thompson will be releasing in November/December.   The two new pieces of hardware are the HDSpark and the HDThunder.

HDSPARK
This is an HDMI output card for Edius If you do not need any analogue inputs and just need to see your edited video on a proper computer screen then the HDSpark may be all you need.  It is just HDMI out - so will give and HD picture to an HD-ready screen.  We do not have the exact price or delivery date as yet although we expect it to be about £50-£100 more than the price of just teh Edius software on its own.

HDTHUNDER
The Thunder is an HD-SDI i/o board.  We do not have full details of this as yet but it will dramatically reduce the price of an HD-SDI interface with Edius as previously this was only possible using the expensive Edius HD card set.
